Termites travel from the soil to a wood food source (your home) through mud tubes constructed to protect them from other insects and the elements. Termites swarm in the spring time when the first warm days appear. The swarming termites are the reproductive part of the colony and whose sole purpose is to mate and start new colonies. When termites swarm, they emerge from the colony and disperse. When swarming occurs inside of a structure, most termites drop there wings and die off. Although the swarming termites do not cause any damage, it is usually a sign that the workers are near by and treatment should be made.

2: Truth Termite Baiting System consists of installing termite monitoring stations strategically around the exterior of the home. These stations are inspected for termite activity three times a year. If termite activity is found, monitors are replaced with bait until activity ceases. This treatment is recommended for homes with wells or for those who don't want a pesticide treatment. This treatment comes with a 2 year renewable warranty.

3: Combination treatment combines both a spot treatment using Termidor in the areas of termite activity only, and also installing HomeGuard termite monitoring system around perimeter of home. These stations are inspected for termite activity three times a year. If termite activity is found, monitors are replaced with bait and re-inspected monthly until activity ceases. This treatment gives you the best of both worlds, great protection with minimal pesticides.This treatment comes with a 2 year renewable warranty.
